High-Access Window Cleaning
PPC carry out window cleaning services for many large commercial properties across the south and quite often require the need for high access equipment to reach certain windows. High access equipment can be very expensive to hire with charges of up to £500 for the equipment alone, and this is often not needed for more than a couple of hours at a time.
We have started to pair hotels and business up which enable us to pass on significant saving to them and have found this to be very popular with some of the Brighton based hotels. We currently clean the external windows at the Queens Hotel on the seafront which is one of Brighton’s largest hotels through our sister company Astound Facilities, and have shared the cost of the access equipment with The Mercure Hotel. This has enabled us to pass on a saving of over £200 to each hotel, which over the year equates to several thousand pounds saving. We get very good rates with our hire company and happily pass this saving on to our customers which makes us the most competitive window cleaning company in Sussex when it comes to using powered access equipment.
All of our operators are IPAF trained allowing them to control the smaller machines which elevates the cost of paying for a driver. To ensure you have the correct machine for the job a site survey is always conducted by one of our trained surveyors as we often have to close roads or cone off specific areas. Permits to work are all included which we have to obtain through Brighton & Hove council but this is all taken care of by one of our project managers.
