Traditional Window Cleaning
The traditional method of window cleaning is by far the best, most pristine way of cleaning, as the windows are left clear and dry with any dirty water wiped away.
This is done with the window cleaner applying a cleaning solution to the window with an applicator and then cleaning it off manually with the use of a squeegee, we then wipe down the windowsill and edges with a clean cloth leaving a perfectly clean window every time. We use this method for all our internal cleaning work as the windows are a lot more accessible from the inside and a perfect cleaning finish is usually always guaranteed.
Here is one of our guide videos on how to clean internal glass using this method:
Health & Safety Law
Unfortunately, current UK Health & Safety law now prevents working from a ladder in most cases, but window cleaning is deemed as safe up to first floor if the relevant precautions have been taken. If you are a business or domestic property and your windows are all ground or first floor then we would recommend the traditional method of cleaning, as this will leave a perfect spot free finish every time.
Benefits of Traditional Window Cleaning include:
- Internal windows can be cleaned easily
- No trailing hoses
- No scuff marks of the UPVC from the brush head
- Windows are left dry
- Window sills are wiped down by hand
- Perfect finish every time
